Our focus is your surroundings and how you feel and live within them. Whether you’re updating or adding a new window treatment, comfy sofa, kitchen, bathroom or building your dream home, our staff can successfully guide your interior design project from concept to completion.
Jean Phipps has 45 years of experience as a designer, all spent in the Iowa City Area. She is a graduate of Iowa State University and has completed her NCIDQ requirements. She opened Surroundings Interiors in 1987, moving to the current location in 1990.
Renee has been at Surroundings Interiors for 17 years. She is a graduate of Kirkwood Community College, studying in their highly respected Interior Design department, graduating in 2001 with the Associates of Arts degree in Interior Design.
Lori has a degree in interior design from Iowa State University and has completed her NCIDQ requirements. She has 42 years of design experience and has been with Surroundings Interiors 21 years.
